Who can be in the book?
Dad becomes the superhero you pick, and your child takes the part of that hero's child (Daemen's and Steve's stories have two children, so two of yours can join in). One other grown-up can take the hero's partner's part, or keep Katie's character. Your family's names are lettered into the story in Katie's style, and your message goes on the page at the front.
How long is the book?
Choose the full story (40 illustrated pages) or the short story (the same adventure in 16 pages, for less).
Do you need photos of the kids?
No, never. Upload 2 or 3 photos of each grown-up, and describe your child with a few simple choices: hair, eyes and skin.
How are my photos used?
They're only used to draw your family's characters. They're stored privately and sent securely to OpenAI, the AI drawing tool we use. Our team only looks at them if a drawing goes wrong or you ask us for help.
Can I ask for changes to the characters?
Yes. When your characters are drawn you can approve them, or ask for one round of changes, free.
How long does it take?
Your characters are ready to check about 2 minutes after you order. Once you approve them, we make your book (10–20 minutes) and a person on our team checks every page.
Do you print and post?
Yes, Australia-wide.
Is AI used?
Yes. Katie-Marie Bray illustrated every page by hand. Our AI drawing tool draws your family into her pictures, other AI tools help us spot mistakes, and a real person on our team checks every page before it's printed or sent.
